The Unicorn Preservation Society is a registered charity and relies on your gifts, donations and legacies to remain open. Help us ensure HMS Unicorn’s unique history spans many more generations.
Here are a few examples of how your donation can help:
- £5 will cover an education pack for a school visit;
- £25 will cover a week’s electricity bill;
- £100 will meet the cost of a bus to allow 45 children to visit the ship;
- £500 buys specialist paint for the Captain’s Cabin;
- £1,000 pays for 1 month’s insurance.

Volunteer
We welcome applications from those who wish to volunteer. We have four types of volunteer, those:
- Using technical skills
- Acting as guides
- Teaching others
- Learning skills
Our volunteers are special and make an invaluable contribution to the life and future of the ship. We have a very limited number of places for those who wish to be a volunteer.

For those who manage trusts and foundations or who are in the fortunate position to make a more significant donation or grant, we would be delighted to discuss a proposal with you. HMS Unicorn has some exciting days ahead as there are a number of developments underway and planned for the ship.
This is a once in a life time opportunity to support major development plans and we welcome the support of organisations and individuals who would like to help us drive this convservation project forward.
